Why should you participate

More than 4.5 Lakh students appeared for IIT-JEE 2009 conducted on April 11, 2010. According to reports, total 13,000 candidates who cleared the exam are qualified to seek admission in the prestigious institutions. In 2009, out of 380,000 candidates who wrote the examination, 10,035 candidates were declared qualified to seek admission for 6872 seats in IITs.

While in AIEEE 2009, more than 11,40,000 students wrote the exam for a mere number of 40,000 seats overall.

Above is scenario in all other major examinations.

The toughest/ lowest selection percentage almost 2-3% (IIT), 4-5% (AIEEE), 4-6% (PMT) and so on; is the uniqueness of such exams. If we attempt to re-look through this perspective, we may safely presume that no more than 15% of about 1,50,000 aspirants who come to Kota become successful in their pursuit of their dream career.

Rest of the students remain Completely Confused and Puzzled about their career options as they also had dreamt of either MBA, Engineering, Law or Medicine only. This lot of students every year in Kota is looking for a Professional certification or Vocational Course / exploring study abroad destination / seeking expert counselling resources / discussing with fellow students / participating in forums and what not.
Almost all of these students don’t have clear or complete information about the avenues they could resort to for their future. Their knowledge is limited to regular board exams like Secondary, Senior Secondary or degree level exams like Graduation, Post Graduation or few popular competitive exams like CAT, IITJEE, AIEEE, PMT only.
